According to police, the 45-year-old woman was allegedly struck on the head by her husband, Maharaj Singh, following an intense quarrel involving their son and buffaloes.

The altercation reportedly began between Maya Devi and her elder son, Harisharan, on Friday. As tensions escalated, Singh intervened, and in a moment of rage, attacked his wife with a heavy staff. The blow proved fatal, and Devi succumbed at the scene.
