Tragedy Strikes: Home Guard Dies by Electrocution at Home

A tragic incident unfolded in Pitambar Pura as a 35-year-old home guard named Nilesh succumbed to electrocution. He was working at home when he accidentally stepped on a live electric wire, suffering a severe electric shock. The incident has left the community in mourning.
According to Station House Officer Amit Kumar Mishra, the incident occurred under the jurisdiction of Friends Colony police station. Family members quickly transported Nilesh to the district hospital, but despite their efforts, he was declared deceased upon arrival. The body has been kept in the mortuary for further procedures.
The police, upon receiving the distressing news, quickly reached the hospital, completed the inquest proceedings, and arranged for a postmortem examination. This tragic loss highlights the risks associated with electrical hazards in domestic settings.
