In a significant drug bust, police in Maharashtra's Palghar district have seized nearly three kilograms of ganja from a local farmhouse. The raid, carried out on February 3, resulted in the arrest of two men hailing from Gujarat.

Senior Inspector Ajay Gorad from the Talasari police station disclosed that the operation took place after receiving a tip-off. The seized drugs were found at the Sambha Irani Farm within the Amgaon Chowki limits.

The accused, Mohammad Changez Haji Abdul Rauf Sheikh, 36, and Atish Ganesh Kumare, 28, have been taken into custody and charged under the NDPS Act. Investigations are ongoing to determine whether they are linked to a broader inter-state drug syndicate crossing the Maharashtra-Gujarat border.
