Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has drawn attention to the stark contrast between the state's mineral wealth and the persistent poverty affecting its residents. Speaking at a Koderma function, where Shalini Gupta joined the JMM, Soren highlighted the potential of local mica reserves.
Gupta, who gained significant support in the 2024 assembly elections as an Independent, joined the JMM, accompanied by enthusiastic supporters. Soren stressed that organized mica mining could curb youth migration by providing local job opportunities.
Rounding off his address, Soren reiterated his government's dedication to holistic societal progress through various welfare initiatives, advocating for an inclusive approach to Jharkhand's growth and development.
