Tragedy Strikes: Nephew and Uncle Killed in Hit-and-Run

In a tragic incident, Sunil Mani Tripathi, 40, and his nephew Nitin Kumar Pandey, 35, were killed in a hit-and-run. The duo was struck by an unidentified vehicle while returning from Devalha village, where they delivered a religious book to Tripathi's father.

The incident occurred late Friday night as the victims awaited a lift home. Their untimely demise prompted local BJP MLA Paltu Ram to visit the grieving family and promise state support. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination.

Authorities are analyzing CCTV footage to locate the vehicle involved in the accident. Station House Officer Harish Singh confirmed the ongoing investigation and assured justice for the bereaved family.
