The Delhi Police have finally arrested a man involved in a high-profile murder case. Md Nasim, also known by the alias Monu, was apprehended in connection with a gruesome killing in which the victim was drugged and strangled, before being disposed of in a canal.

Nasim, 26, had been on the run since June of last year following the murder of Md Kadir in Janakpuri, Delhi. The main suspect, Irfan—Nasim's brother-in-law—allegedly committed the murder over suspicions of an illicit affair involving his wife.

In an elaborate attempt to evade capture, Nasim frequently changed phones and SIM cards, and worked under a fake identity. His arrest came after police tracked him to a specific location, with further interrogation now underway.
