The Delhi Police have detained two teenage brothers following a stabbing incident that unfolded in Jahangirpuri, northwest Delhi. The stabbing reportedly occurred after the minors were confronted over allegedly slapping a local resident's son.
Authorities captured the pair, aged 15 and 17, on Friday. They had been evading capture since allegedly committing the crime on February 6. The altercation escalated when Mukesh, the victim, returned home from work to find out about his son's confrontation with the suspects.
During the confrontation with Mukesh and his brothers, the minors reportedly issued threats before attacking with knives. As a result, Mukesh suffered a knife wound on his palm, and his brother sustained injuries to his shoulder and stomach. The minors, both with limited formal education, have a laborer father and are accused of aiming to establish dominance in the area. A case has been registered by authorities for further investigation.
