AI-Generated Food Images Stir Controversy at Police Training Facility

Thirty-six recruits from Rajasthan Police were sent back from a training center in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, after allegedly creating AI-manipulated images of stale food to spread on social media. The recruits were said to have initiated a smear campaign against the training facility due to dissatisfaction with the meals provided.

In a surprising turn of events, 36 Rajasthan Police recruits were expelled from a training center in Gwalior for allegedly using AI to fabricate images portraying poor food quality. This incident was perceived as an unscrupulous attempt to malign the police training center's reputation, according to MP police officials.

The recruits, mostly from the telecom wing, allegedly embarked on a smear campaign against the Police Training Centre at Tighra. They circulated AI-generated images showcasing alleged substandard food, thereby compromising discipline within the facility.

Raja Babu Singh, the Additional Director General of Police for training, emphasized that the recruits' actions reflected gross indiscipline. Discontent over the food quality led these recruits to demand traditional Rajasthani dishes, deviating from the provided menu, further complicating the situation at the training center.
