The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has taken decisive action by issuing a show cause notice to former MLA Pilot Rohith Reddy after a recent drug bust at a Moinabad farmhouse led to his arrest. The incident, occurring on the city's outskirts, involved Reddy and two others, prompting the party's disciplinary response.
BRS General Secretary Soma Bharat Kumar announced the notice, emphasizing the severe damage such allegations cause to the party's reputation. Kumar stated that the BRS, under the leadership of K Chandrasekhar Rao, is steadfast in upholding the law and moral values, opposing any drug-related activities.
Pilot Rohith Reddy has been instructed to provide a clear response to the allegations within seven days. Failure to comply could result in disciplinary action, underscoring the party's commitment to discipline and integrity in its ranks. In the meantime, Reddy remains in judicial custody while the process unfolds.
