Andhra Pradesh's Chief Electoral Officer, Vivek Yadav, led an intensive training session at the Secretariat for deputy district election officers, focusing on the forthcoming Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral roll.
The initiative aims to prepare 15 municipal commissioners and additional commissioners from urban locales including Vizag, Srikakulam, and Eluru, among others, by highlighting the processes involved and responsibilities of various officials.
Technical guidance was also provided on using the BLO-App for elector mapping, with an emphasis on reconciling current records with the year 2002's electoral data, ensuring comprehensive coverage and accuracy in the electoral roll.
