Six Assam natives were apprehended on Wednesday for allegedly beating to death their colleague, suspecting him of attempted theft, police revealed.
The victim, identified as 25-year-old Nur Hussain, was allegedly attacked by the six men at their shared living quarters.
Afterward, they reportedly transported Hussain to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The incident is currently under investigation by Perumbavoor police, who have recorded the arrest of the accused.
