Daring Night Standoff: Notorious Gang Member Arrested in Delhi

In a dramatic incident in southeast Delhi's Badarpur area, police captured Mohammad Saleem, a key figure in the notorious Nasir-Danish Pahalwan gang. Saleem, wanted for over 20 criminal activities, engaged in a gunfight with law enforcement before his arrest on Saturday.

Acting on specific intelligence, Special Task Force officers had set up a tactical operation to intercept Saleem as he allegedly planned a burglary. Upon approach, he attempted to escape on a scooter but ultimately fell. Subsequently, Saleem drew a semi-automatic weapon, sparking an exchange of gunfire with police.

The confrontation concluded with Saleem receiving a bullet wound in the leg and being subdued by authorities. A firearm and scooter were confiscated. Saleem, known for a history steeped in violent crimes, including a previous murder conviction, is now under further investigation.
