Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday leveled criticisms at the ruling BJP government for allegedly turning issues concerning women into mere political slogans.
He expressed concerns over amendments proposed to the Women's Reservation Act, 2023, during a debate in the Lok Sabha, suggesting these were measures to delay the national Census.
Yadav raised issues about women's representation within BJP's leadership and criticized the party's approach to women's reservation and governance in Union territories.
