The Nashik unit of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is under scrutiny following serious allegations of sexual harassment and coerced religious conversion. A victim reported that an accused established a physical relationship under false pretenses, while pressuring her to convert to Islam and insulting her religious beliefs.
The Nashik police, having arrested eight individuals based on nine FIRs, are conducting a deep investigation into the allegations. Nida Khan, one of the accused, has sought anticipatory bail, citing her pregnancy and denying any wrongdoing, as the inquiry continues.
TCS maintains its stance of having received no prior complaints related to these allegations and emphasizes its zero-tolerance policy towards misconduct. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has ordered a thorough examination of the case, reiterating that coercive religious conversions will not be tolerated.
