A devastating fire broke out on Friday night at a scrap godown in Neemrana, Rajasthan, claiming the lives of four people, including two minor girls, police reported on Saturday.

The victims were young Kavita, her seven-year-old relative, a driver named Ravindutt Yadav, and Johnny, an employee at the godown. An investigation suggests the fire was ignited by a bidi thrown by the driver, which ignited spirit from perfume bottles being sorted.

Tragically, as the fire spread, the victims found themselves trapped by a wall and died from suffocation. The warehouse owner, Karan Singh, is absconding, while police have detained an associate for questioning. A case has been registered.
