Gangster Nabbed: Harpreet Singh and Seven Associates Arrested in Kullu

Punjab's Crime Investigation Agency, in collaboration with Kullu police, successfully arrested notorious gangster Harpreet Singh and seven of his associates in Himachal Pradesh's Kullu district. The arrests came after police received a tip-off, leading to their detention near Shilha while returning from Barshaini.

A notorious gangster and seven of his associates have been apprehended in Himachal Pradesh's Kullu district. This success was orchestrated by Punjab's Crime Investigation Agency, alongside local law enforcement.

Punjab-based gangster Harpreet Singh, along with his aides Ram Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Satnam alias Sagar, Sikandar, Rajbindar, Komal, and Talwinder Kaur, were tracked to Manikaran, where they were residing in a hotel. A tip-off enabled police to monitor their movements closely, culminating in their arrest near Shilha on their way back from Barshaini.

The operation highlights significant coordination between Punjab and Kullu police forces. Harpreet Singh, with multiple severe criminal cases registered against him, including a recent shooting incident for extortion, remains under interrogation along with his companions as confirmed by Kullu Superintendent of Police Madan Lal Kaushal.
