Andhra police rearrest YSRCP media wing gen secy after HC bail suspension
According to police, Pudi was taken into custody again in connection with a case registered against him earlier over a social media post allegedly targeting CM Chandrababu Naidu, following due legal procedure. His bail order has been suspended by the High Court, and we have taken him into custody again as per legal procedures, Kuppam DSP B Parthasarathi told PTI.

The police on Wednesday arrested Srihari Pudi, general secretary of media wing, YSRCP, again after his bail order was suspended by the Andhra Pradesh High Court. According to police, Pudi was taken into custody again in connection with a case registered against him earlier over a social media post allegedly targeting CM Chandrababu Naidu, following due legal procedure. ''His bail order has been suspended by the High Court, and we have taken him into custody again as per legal procedures,'' Kuppam DSP B Parthasarathi told PTI. Earlier, Pudi was detained over an alleged social media post against Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and was shifted to Kuppam in Chittoor district, where the case was registered. He was subsequently produced before a local court in connection with the case, police noted. Pudi had earlier served as Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of YSRCP supremo Jagan Mohan Reddy during his tenure as chief minister of Andhra Pradesh between 2019 and 2024.
