REFILE-Morgan Stanley expects Fed to hold rates in 2026
Morgan Stanley expects the U.S. Federal Reserve to leave interest rates unchanged in 2026, citing still-elevated inflation and recent data pointing to economic resilience, it said in a note dated Wednesday.
The brokerage had earlier expected two 25-basis point interest rate cuts in September and December this year.
