​Morgan Stanley ‌expects the U.S. Federal Reserve to leave interest ‌rates unchanged in ‌2026, citing still-elevated inflation and recent ⁠data ​pointing ⁠to economic resilience, it said ⁠in a note ​dated Wednesday.

The brokerage ⁠had earlier expected ⁠two ​25-basis point interest rate cuts ⁠in September and December ⁠this ⁠year.
