A defamation case involving Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been pushed to May 13. The complaint, linked to remarks made by Gandhi in the Bul Garhi case, questions his description of three acquitted youths as accused.
The hearing, held in an MP-MLA court, was presided over by Additional Civil Judge Deepak Nath Saraswati. During the session, arguments were presented on whether Gandhi should face legal action for his comments.
The complainants, represented by Munna Singh Pundir, hold that Gandhi's statements during a 2024 visit to the village were objectionable. The legal challenge also includes a demand for Rs 1.5 crore in damages.
