Tragic Fire Claims Two Lives in Pallavpuram
A father and daughter tragically died due to suffocation after a fire, suspected to have been caused by a short circuit, broke out in their home in Pallavpuram. The two victims, along with the other residents, were taken to a hospital where the father and daughter succumbed to smoke inhalation.

Tragedy struck early Monday morning as a fire engulfed a residence in the Pallavpuram area, resulting in the deaths of a 35-year-old man and his eight-year-old daughter. The blaze, which erupted around 2 am, is suspected to have been caused by a short circuit.
Emergency services were promptly alerted, with teams from both the Pallavpuram police station and the fire department on the scene to combat the flames. However, despite their rapid response, the fire claimed two lives. Circle Officer Prakash Chandra Agarwal confirmed that 12 people were inside the house at the time.
The occupants were immediately taken to SD Global Hospital. Sadly, doctors reported that smoke inhalation led to the demise of Sagar and his daughter, Shivani. Fortunately, other injured individuals are recovering and currently out of danger as investigations continue to ascertain the exact circumstances of the incident.
