In a crucial meeting at Lok Bhavan, Arunachal Pradesh Governor K T Parnaik advised the state's police force to adopt a proactive, technology-driven approach for better governance. Emphasizing the significance of policing in sensitive areas, he highlighted the need for a blend of firmness with empathy.
Governor Parnaik placed special focus on the Tirap-Changlang-Longding region, emphasizing the importance of consistent public engagement and transparency to bolster public trust, deemed vital to effective policing. Strategic deployment and infrastructural positioning of police forces in these sensitive districts were also underscored.
Addressing border security, the governor called the expedited implementation of border fencing a critical national security measure. He urged coordinated agency efforts to curb illegal activities and maintain peace, asserting that a secured frontier is essential for safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty.
