The Joint Platform of Doctors West Bengal drew attention to press reports suggesting individuals entering and exiting government offices would be meticulously searched. They emphasized the importance of maintaining the integrity of public health sector documents, which they claim have been tainted by corruption and maladministration over the years.

The letter, signed by Dr. Punyabrata Gun and Dr. Hiralal Konar, calls for immediate intervention to prevent any illicit alteration or removal of records. The platform also emphasized the need for proactive governance measures to prevent further misconduct within state institutions.
