Tragic Turn: Husband Allegedly Murders Wife Over Lifestyle Disputes

The accused, Badripalli Kiran Kumar, allegedly poisoned and smothered his wife. He was arrested on May 4 following a postmortem confirmation of foul play.

A 31-year-old woman was found dead, allegedly murdered by her husband over suspicions of infidelity and lifestyle conflicts in YSR Kadapa district, authorities announced on Tuesday.
The Assistant Superintendent of Police, Vibhu Krishna, revealed that Badripalli Kiran Kumar faced ongoing quarrels with his wife and took drastic action on April 30. Kumar became infuriated by his wife's weight gain, her addiction to junk food, and an alleged extramarital relationship.
After obtaining a poison online and administering it, Kumar is accused of smothering his wife, culminating in her tragic death. Pretending ignorance, he informed her family of her demise. Police arrested him on May 4 following forensic confirmation of foul play, charging him under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
