High-Stakes Interception: Massive Marijuana Bust at Delhi Airport

Customs officials at Indira Gandhi International Airport made a significant drug bust by seizing marijuana valued at Rs 11.63 crore.
The discovery was made during routine checks of three Sri Lankan passengers arriving from Pudong, China, on April 29. Officials used profiling and X-ray screening as part of their strategy.
Authorities recovered 12 packets of the narcotic, totaling 11,635 grams, leading to the passengers' arrest under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
