Teenage Crime Shocks Thane: 13-Year-Old Booked for Attempted Murder in Home Invasion
A 13-year-old boy in Maharashtra's Thane district has been arrested for allegedly injuring a woman during a home invasion attempted theft. The woman, a school teacher, caught the boy in the act and was subsequently attacked, leaving her seriously injured. The boy has been sent to a remand home.

A shocking incident unfolded in Thane district, Maharashtra, as a 13-year-old boy was arrested for allegedly attacking a woman during a home invasion. The juvenile reportedly attempted to steal from the woman’s home in the Murbad area on Monday night.
The situation escalated when the homeowner, a 55-year-old teacher, confronted the intruder. Police confirm that the teenager responded violently, stabbing the woman multiple times. Locals, alarmed by her screams, intervened, managing to detain the boy until police arrived.
Inspector Sachin Hundlekar confirmed that the teacher remains in serious condition at a local hospital. The young offender has been sent to a remand home as the investigation continues.
