Notorious Criminal Apprehended with Firearm in Delhi

Ajeet alias Shivam, a criminal with a history of 39 cases, was arrested in Ashok Vihar, Delhi. Police recovered a semi-automatic pistol and cartridges from him. He allegedly planned a revenge murder against a man involved in a past attack on his sister. The arrest was made following a tip-off.

A notorious criminal identified as Ajeet, also known as Shivam, was apprehended in northwest Delhi’s Ashok Vihar locality on suspicion of planning a revenge killing, according to officials.

Police disclosed that Ajeet, aged 25, is infamous in Ashok Vihar's criminal records, linked to 39 previous offenses including robbery and arms violations.

The arrest followed a tip-off about his possession of an illegal semi-automatic pistol, with plans to target a man out on anticipatory bail for a 2025 attempted murder case against his sister.
