A 21-year-old man allegedly committed suicide in Palghar district after his mother scolded him, a police official said on Friday. Yajnesh Sambre, a resident of Naroda, jumped into Morwane dam in Safale here on Thursday, the official added. ''As per preliminary findings, Sambre ended his life after his mother got angry at him for some reason. An accidental death case has been registered and further probe into the chain of events that led to his death is underway,'' assistant inspector Datta Shelke of Safale police station said.
