In a significant development, the Delhi Police successfully apprehended Sahab Singh, a 34-year-old fugitive, wanted in a high-profile abduction and assault case.
Singh was on the run for three months following the alleged abduction of an on-duty excise department staffer in Northwest Delhi. The arrest occurred near the Dhaula Kuan area after a tip-off directed police efforts.
The incident reportedly involved Singh and his associates abducting the official and assaulting him at a Haryana liquor warehouse. Singh, a habitual offender with multiple criminal cases in Delhi and Haryana, evaded capture during repeated raids by the police.
