CAG Sanjay Murthy Meets President Murmu

On Friday, K Sanjay Murthy, the Comptroller and Auditor General of India, met with President Droupadi Murmu at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Murthy, formerly an IAS officer from the Himachal Pradesh cadre, was appointed as the CAG by President Murmu in November 2024.

On Friday, the Comptroller and Auditor General of India, K Sanjay Murthy, held a meeting with President Droupadi Murmu at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, according to a statement from her office.

The president's office shared an image from the meeting on social media platform X, highlighting Murthy's official visit. The statement noted, 'Shri K Sanjay Murthy, Comptroller and Auditor General of India, called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan.'

Murthy, who joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1989, previously served in the Himachal Pradesh cadre before being appointed by President Murmu as the CAG in November 2024.
