Officials revealed that critical interventions were initiated following multiple complaints registered on the 1098 Childline, a 24-hour emergency toll-free service for children needing care and protection. Swift action, including counseling, awareness campaigns, and on-ground verification prevented the solemnization of these illegal unions.

Furthermore, the administration is ensuring the welfare of these young girls by presenting them before the Child Welfare Committee.
