On Friday, AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi expressed optimism about the Supreme Court potentially overturning a recent decision by the Madhya Pradesh High Court. The court judgment in question declares the Bhojshala complex in Dhar to be a temple dedicated to Goddess Saraswati.

Owaisi likened the situation to the Babri Masjid case, indicating its contentious nature. The ruling has authorized the Centre and the Archaeological Survey of India to decide on the administrative and managerial dimensions of the site.

The High Court remarked on evidential cues suggestive of a Sanskrit teaching hub and a temple. Meanwhile, it suggested that the Muslim community seek alternative land allocation for mosque construction from the state government.
