A retired judge and her lawyer son have been embroiled in a legal case involving dowry-related offenses. This follows the death of their daughter-in-law, Twisha Sharma, who was found dead in her Bhopal residence.
Discovered hanging on Tuesday night, the 33-year-old was rushed by her husband and mother-in-law to a local hospital where she was sadly pronounced dead on arrival. Hospital authorities promptly notified the police of the situation.
The woman’s family, who resides in Noida, claims there were prior indications of her intent to leave Bhopal. Suspicions of murder have arisen, leading the police to file a case under Bharatiya Nyaya Samhita concerning dowry death and harassment. Efforts are underway to apprehend the accused.
