Senior Congress leader Adhir Chowdhury has called upon West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari to promptly address confusion and unrest arising from the state's recent animal slaughter guidelines.
In a letter to Adhikari, Chowdhury expressed concerns about the impact on Murshidabad's minority community, which he claims is particularly affected.
To mitigate unrest, Chowdhury proposed demarcating specific areas for religious practices, allowing communities to follow their customs without interference.
