A 10-year-old boy drowned in a private swimming pool in north Delhi’s Jagatpur area, raising serious concerns about negligence and inadequate safety measures at the facility. Identified as Sanskaar, the young boy from Ibrahimpur village had gone to the pool with his brother and friends for recreation.

The family alleges that Sanskaar was in the pool for half an hour before being found unconscious. Rushed to a hospital, he was pronounced dead upon arrival. The parents criticized the lack of lifeguards and safety arrangements, condemning the pool management for failing to monitor the children's safety adequately.

Subsequent investigations have revealed that the swimming pool was unguarded, with no lifeguards on duty nor were life jackets provided. The Delhi police have registered a case and initiated legal proceedings against the pool owner and others responsible as they continue their investigation into the tragic incident.
