Authorities have detained two minor friends, aged 15 and 13, linked to the alleged murder. Initially, the friends claimed Thivish left with someone on a scooter. However, police interrogation revealed a violent altercation, with a 15-year-old assaulting Thivish over alleged remarks about his mother.
The brutal incident, which began as a casual fishing outing, underscores the need for guidance among young individuals. DMK president M. K. Stalin called upon parents and teachers to ensure children develop patience and empathy.
