The Allahabad High Court has postponed deliberations on a contentious petition challenging Rahul Gandhi's citizenship. This procedural shift comes amid a pending application aiming to retract prior remarks made by the court.
The case surfaced in front of Justice Manish Mathur following Justice Subhash Vidyarthi's recusal. Vidyarthi had earlier expressed dissatisfaction over social media comments about court proceedings and decided a detailed order was premature without notifying Rahul Gandhi.
