Instagram Influencer Arrested for Alleged Copper Wire Theft

A 19-year-old Instagram influencer in India has been arrested for allegedly stealing copper wire from a construction site. Police seized Rs 41,000 from her, suspected to be from the wire's sale, and she is under investigation.

An Instagram influencer known as 'Queen Reel Star', with nearly 32,000 followers, has been apprehended for allegedly pilfering copper wire from a construction location in India, according to law enforcement.

The police operation, led by inspector Sudhakar Bawkar, intercepted Priya Jitendra Kamble near a school. During interrogation, she reportedly admitted to the theft and selling the wire to scrap dealers. Officers recovered Rs 41,000, believed to be proceeds from her illicit activities. A case had been filed at the MIDC police station, where further investigations are underway.
