India's future as a technologically advanced and self-reliant nation will depend largely on the creativity, innovation and commitment of its young engineers, scientists and entrepreneurs, Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan said while addressing the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of University B.D.T. College of Engineering in Davangere, Karnataka.

The milestone event marked 75 years of the institution's contribution to engineering education, technological advancement and nation-building. Speaking before students, faculty members, alumni and distinguished guests, the Vice President highlighted the crucial role educational institutions must play in preparing the next generation of innovators capable of driving India's transformation into a developed nation by 2047.
