The Indian Navy, under the leadership of Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, executed an aggressive maritime strategy during Operation Sindoor, significantly impacting Pakistan's naval operations. This operation showcased the Navy's high combat readiness and strategic positioning, leading to increased shipping risks and elevated insurance premiums for Pakistan.

Admiral Tripathi emphasized the Navy's pivotal role in national security, stating the operation forced the Pakistan Navy to remain near its coastline due to psychological and logistical constraints. The operation also underscored the Navy's ability to integrate successfully with the Indian Army and Air Force, demonstrating enhanced joint operational capabilities.

Highlighting the scope of their exercises, Tripathi noted the biennial TROPEX-2025, which involved extensive naval assets and personnel, along with successful maritime operations and joint effects-based exercises. The Navy's other achievements included conducting numerous bilateral and multilateral exercises, moving towards exhaustive maritime security goals set under the MAHASAGAR vision.

The Navy's operations extended to humanitarian efforts following natural disasters and anti-narcotics operations, contributing significantly to regional security and stability, as well as countering illegal networks.
