In Palwal, police apprehended four members of an alleged interstate gang following a brief shootout. The encounter, which occurred near Mundkati Chowk, resulted in injuries to both a police constable and one of the suspects. Authorities recovered a rifle, pistols, and numerous cartridges.
Reports indicate these individuals were plotting to execute a significant crime. The operation was initiated after a tip-off about armed men traveling from Etawah, Uttar Pradesh. The police team, after intercepting the suspects' vehicle, engaged in a high-speed chase culminating in the eventual capture of four men, while one suspect managed to flee.
The detainees include individuals with extensive criminal backgrounds, including Madhav Gupta, who faces 25 cases. Police continue their search for the absconding suspect, Vipul Diwedi.
