A community in Western Australia is in disbelief after a group of young girls, 12 to 15 years-of-age, went on a wild rampage in Cockburn. During the violent spree, the group assaulted eight people and left a McDonald's worker with a broken nose.
Sources say the girls got off a train at Cockburn about 5pm on Monday and assaulted strangers as they walked towards the Cockburn Central shopping precinct. The police was called after the group tried to steal a till from a McDonald's outlet.
Sergeant Dave Eaton said their behaviour was extremely aggressive. "There was, if you don't want to describe it as that, but a pack mentality." The Sergeant said two girls have been charged with stealing an iPhone and a necklace. He added investigations are continuing.
