DUP leader wants a deal secured before Britain leaves the EU

The leader of the Northern Ireland party whose 10 members of parliament support Prime Minister Boris Johnson's government told business leaders on Friday that her party wanted a deal secured before the Britain leaves the European Union. "The prime minister wants to secure a deal before the United Kingdom leaves the European Union. We will give every assistance in trying to secure a deal. That has always been our position," DUP leader Arlene Foster said in Belfast.

"We want an agreement that works for Northern Ireland and for our neighbours in the Republic of Ireland. That agreement must be one which can be supported by both unionists and nationalists however."
