Ola lodges police complaint against driver-partner

Cab aggregator Ola has lodged a complaint with police here alleging that one of its driver-partner who took nine cars on rental basis failed to return them despite repeated requests. The driver had taken the cars on lease basis but neither paid the rent nor respond to repeated attempts by the company to reach him, police said.
It appeared that the GPS in the vehicles had been switched off, a police official said adding a case has been registered and investigation was on. Ola s subsidiary Ola Fleet Technology leases out cars to drivers who cannot afford to buy them.
The driver partner will have to pay nominal deposit and run the vehicle on regular terms of the company..
