One dead, four hurt in collision between two cars

A 64-year-old man waskilled and four persons, inclding three of his family members,were injured Monday when their car collided with anothervehicle on the Mumbai-Goa national highway near Udhale Khed inRatnagiri district, police said

The car was headed to Ambarnath in Thane district fromChiplun in Ratnagiri

The deceased is identified as Ghanashyam Juvekar, aresident of Ambarnath, and the injured persons as Avani (28),Anuradha (40), and Vishvesh, a police official said, addingthat one Samadhan Pawar who was travelling in another car,also sustained injuries.
