In a tragic incident in West Delhi's Vishnu Garden, a 13-year-old boy named Jaspreet lost his life, and an elderly woman, Swamjeet Kaur, sustained significant burn injuries after a fire erupted early Wednesday morning. Emergency services were alerted to the scene in Khayala around 2:45 am.

Four fire tenders quickly arrived and managed to put out the fire by 4:10 am, officials reported. The blaze began among an electric scooter and various household items stored on the house's ground floor. Prior to the fire brigade's arrival, local residents and police managed to rescue the injured and transport them to nearby Guru Gobind Hospital, where Jaspreet was declared deceased.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated as authorities continue their inquiry into the incident.
