Absconder held in Jammu

An alleged drug peddler, who had been absconding for the last nearly two years, was arrested Monday on the outskirts of the city, police said.

Sunny Khajuria, a resident of Indira Nagar, was evading arrest since 2017 after a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act was registered against him at Miran Sahib police station, a police official said.

He said Khajuria was arrested on a specific information by a special police party from R S Pura.
