Protest erupts near Sri Lanka embassy in Tamil Nadu over inaction in 2008 war crimes

Protest erupted near Sri Lankan Embassy against Sri Lankan Government here on Thursday for dragging the investigation on the war crimes that took place in the south-Asian island nation in 2008. The protesters demanded the Indian government to take the issue in the United Nations (UN) council to take immediate action against Colombo.

The protest was organised by Ezha Tamilar Vaalvurimai Kootamaipu, and VCK party leaders including Thirumavalavan, Thyagu, Kolathur Mani participated in the protest.
