2 Naxals arrested in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur
Two Naxals were Saturday arrested from Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district, police said. The two were identified as Mangesh alias Hurra Majji (43) and Majji Chinna (38) and were held from Rengawaya village under Bedre police station limits, over 450 kilometres from here, an official said.
Security personnel were out on a search-cum-area domination operation in the forests of Waynar, Kodepalli and Rengawaya villages in Bedre when they received a tip-off on the presence of the two Naxals in the area, he said. They are wanted in cases of murder, loot and have been absconding since 2007, the official added..
