3 killed, 10 injured after railing gives way

Three persons werekilled and ten others injured when an iron railing gave wayduring a marriage ritual at a village in Garhwa district,police said on Thursday

The ritual of 'dwar puja' was being performed afterthe marriage party arrived at the bride's house at AchalaNawadih village from neighbouring Palamau district when therailing fell on them killing three persons on the spot, policesaid

The ceremony was being observed in a single-storeybuilding when the railing of the staircase, leading to theterrace, snapped and fell on them.
