Kolkata: Magician drowns while performing underwater escape act

A 47-year-old magician Chanchal Lahiri drowned while performing a stunt in the Ganga river below the Howrah Bridge, Kolkata police said on Monday.
He drowned while performing an underwater escape act near pillar number 28 of the bridge on June 16.
